Give a Day 2020/21

Give a day looked very different in 2020 and 2021, and we didn’t do the usual big projects we’ve done before. We worked quietly behind the scenes and helped join up big hearted people who just wanted to do something to help in such a difficult and challenging time. 

Whether it was the lovely Alan from Com for T who was first to offer industrial equipment or Story construction and homes who always said yes to lifting, shifting and turning up, to thousands of bags of courage getting passed onto people in and around Carlisle, good stuff happened. 

One project that did happen was the renovation of the staff room at Petteril bank school, this was made possible by amazing Electricity Northwest who did most of the work, the stunning kitchen was kindly donated by Howdens, paint donated by Johnstons, coffee machine donated by Network Plus, and stacks of coffee and donuts donated by the fab Bruce and Luke.  

The school wanted to express just how grateful they were for everything that so many people made happen.
